The second sector with the highest growth was transportation, storage, mail and messaging, which grew by 12.93% in the first half of this year and in June increased by 10.86%, which is associated with an increase in the transport subsector. which reported more activity for this service via the air route, which increased by 65.76%, while the land route grew by 5.53%.

Those who fell the most in the first semester
The fishing sector continues to be the subject that recorded the largest drop in the first semester.; although it showed a significant recovery of 15.07% in June compared to the same month last year.
The change was driven by increased marine fisheries, helped by a 29.25% increase in catches of species for indirect human consumption due to higher tonnage of anchovy caught, which increased from 718,992 tons in June 2021 to 929,291 tons in June 2022. .
Sea fishing for direct human consumption also increased by 0.08%: for fresh consumption by 9.62% and for canning by 101.11%; while frozen and dried decreased by 5.35% and 59.22% respectively. Fishing in inland waters decreased by 37.60%, due to a decrease in the catch of species for fresh consumption -54.27%; while it increased for frozen by 27.92% and for dried by 103.26%.
As of June 2022 the financial and insurance sector fell by 7.83% due to a small amount of corporate loans and home mortgages. There was also a fall multiple bank deposits in demand deposits, savings deposits and deposits for compensation of seniority, only increasing term deposits.
