Russia has announced that Ukraine has stopped oil transit due to its inability to receive payment. The Hungarian company is ready to help.
The Hungarian company MOL announced its readiness to pay for the transfer of Russian oil through Ukraine. This was reported by the company’s press service on Tuesday, August 9.
“Oil transportation through the Druzhba pipeline has been suspended for several days, as far as we know, due to technical problems of the banks related to the payment of a transit fee by the Russian side. Despite the fact that the MOL has oil reserves for several weeks, the company is working to resolve the situation, and is also negotiating to take over the commission.
Earlier, Transneft said that Ukrtransnafta stopped transporting Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline due to problems with receiving payment. The Ukrainian company did not comment on the situation.
