On Friday, the first flights to the European coat came from Uzhgorod – direct trains went to Bratislava, Budapest and Vienna. This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia on September 12.
“Today, 280 passengers first try a new quick and comfortable message. This has become possible thanks to the European Standards Rut construction – for the first time in Ukraine’s independence – between Chop and Uzhgorod,” the report said.

The UZ said that from December, when the motion schedule was updated, passengers were offered a convenient docking with internal flights. Then there will be more trains at night that will make fun for a convenient move on the European train.
In addition, from September 12, the new Route No. 644/647 – Beregovo – Borzhava. The train will run on the coast of Europe of 1435 mm and directly connect Beregovo to wisdom, an important transplant node, from which many Hungary trains have left, especially to Budapest.
Tickets are available in the application and on the Ukrzaliznytsia website, as well as on the websites of Hungarian and Slovak Railways.
Remember that in April 2024 they began to build a European coole from Uzhgorod to the border with the EU. The total cost of the project is estimated at 1.3 billion UAH. Of these, 50% were funded from the EU Foundation connecting the Europe Facility (CEF).
In the near future, it was planned to implement similar projects from LVIV and Chernivtsi.
It is also reported today that Ukrzaliznytsia has assigned additional trains for September.
