In particular, from the point of view of the early cereal group, about 26 million tons were expected, which was slightly lower than last year.
In Season-2025, Ukrainian farmers will receive nearly 56 million tons of early grains and 21 million tons of oil crops. It was announced by Deputy Minister of Economics, Ecology and Agriculture Taras Vysotsky in Air Ukrainian radio.
Thus, from the point of view of the first grain group, approximately 26 million tons are expected to produce, which is slightly lower than last year.
“The decline is due to the fact that in the southern regions -the east of the wheat and barley yield of winter, unfortunately, is less due to drought,” Vysotsky explained.
In addition, corn harvesting is also expected to be good. At the same time, the crops of this culture in the southern -east – parts of Dnepropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Nikolaev, Odessa regions – are actually lost. However, Ukraine’s main corn belt are Sumshina, Chernihiv, Postava, Kiev region and more west, despite late sowing and late shoots, thanks to rainy season and the optimal temperature regime, beautiful plants are formed.
“We can talk about about 28 million tons, which is more than last year,” Vysotsky said and added that the final unpredictable figure between 56 million tons of gross crown of grains corresponds to the level of last year.
In 2025, approximately 21 million tons will receive oil crops by 2025, corresponding to the 2024 indicator. The production structure will be slightly larger than sunflower, not soy sauce.
Due to the cold spring, gardening experienced major losses during 2025.
“Yes, there are losses in the gardens, in the first group, but in the final types, the indicators may be somewhat better at last year’s level. In the near future, apples prices are expected in the near future. Now they will be held because last year’s reaping products are in implementation. Be completely different price tags,” Vysotsky said.
A similar situation with vegetables. According to him, vegetables will be more affordable for consumers, but there is also a normal economic impact for the manufacturer.
Remember, in addition to military risks, farmers have found bad weather conditions. This may affect the yield 2025.
