Verkhovna Rada has generally adopted Bill No. 13439-3 on state budget amendments for 2025, which provides an increase in the wise costs of over 40 billion UAH. This was announced by People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak on Telegram on Wednesday, August 20.
According to him, the bill was supported by 229 elects.
According to the document, among the major changes – 25.7 billion UAH for replenishment of the state budget reserve fund for unexpected military and humane costs and 4.3 billion UAH to increase the costs of the Ministry of Cyphra.
Thus, Mincifers provided 1.4 billion UAH for a new program for buying special equipment, drones and testing equipment for battle conditions, as well as 2.8 billion UAH – to supply grants for production development in the field of Defense Tech.
In addition, UAH 4.6 billion is provided for the power of primary school students in all areas and 5-11 grade-in territories on the front line, 3.2 billion UAH-for buying drugs for the treatment of cancer, rare orphaned diseases, viral hepatitis, hemophilia, etc.
The development of a network of military lyceums provides the UAH’s 1.5 billion collapse to local budgets, and to support war veterans and their families – 1.2 billion UAH. Separately, 1 billion UAH is redistributed for the construction of new housing or rebuilding areas for the living of internal transferred persons (IDP).
Additional costs are balanced by reducing other non -cost costs of UAH 36.7 billion, of which 33.6 billion UAH – a reduction in public debt service.
It is also provided for recruiting the income tax component to banks from the KYIV budget to the total state budget funding for 8 billion UAH.
Remember, on July 31, Rada approved an additional 412 billion UAH for defense. The accepted bill was designed to solve the critical problem of paying August to the military.
