Russia has again faced fuel deficiency: exchange prices for AI-92 and AI-95 since the beginning of the year flew 40% and 50%, respectively, setting historical records.

In August, attacks by Ukrainian drones stopped at least four large refineries of Russia’s oil, which led to a loss of 13.5% of capacities and an increase in record in fuel prices. This has been proven by the Moscow Times.

Due to injury and cessation of businesses, Russia has lost about 44.3 million tons of annual capacities-it is 13.5% of the total.

So, on August 2, after the BPP strike stopped, Novokuyshevsky NPZ stopped Rosneft with a capacity of 8.3 million tons per year. On August 11, he stopped capturing the company’s raw materials of the company’s Saratov refinery with a capacity of 5.8 million tons per year. Whereas on August 15 the largest Volgograd refineries in southern Russia have stopped Lukoil with a capacity of 14.8 million tons per year. On the same day after attacking, Dronov stopped receiving oil for Samara’s refinery processing Rosneft with a capacity of 8.5 million tons per year.

In addition, on August 2, nearly half of the capacities stopped refining Ryazan, the largest of the factories Rosneft.

Thus, in a little less than three weeks, 44.3 million tons of annual refinery power are lost – 13.5% of the country’s total total, which is 328 million tons per year.

While repairing damaged factories is complicated by penalties, as western equipment for Russian refineries are under restrictions since 2022.

Meanwhile, exchange prices for gasoline according to trading results on Tuesday continue to grow, rising by closing yesterday by almost one percent – new record values.

In general, since the beginning of the year, A-92 fuel has increased by 40%, and the A-95 by 50%. In exchange in Moscow on August 19, prices reached the maximum maximum – 71.97 thousand and 81.34 thousand rubles per ton, respectively.

As we have already written, wholesale prices for gasoline in Russia will continue to defeat history notes after a series of UAV attacks on oil refineries, which at least three completely stopped labor.

We added that fuel in Russia continues to grow rapidly in the Russian wholesale market, despite the government’s decision to completely inhibit the export of fuel.
