Ukraine received new equipment from the states of the IT collection.
Four European countries transferred computer equipment into Ukrainian defense forces totaling 10 million euros. Belgium, Ireland, Estonia and Luxembourg were funded. On August 19, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported.
Assistance package contains 6 thousand 948 laptops. These computers will be transferred for units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and integration into the information systems “Oberig”, “Impulse” and the medical information system.
In addition, Ukraine received:
- 442 monitors;
- 2 thousand 304 messages;
- 318 charging stations;
- Equipment for data processing and network infrastructure centers.
In addition, the Latvian government also transferred 1000 routers worth more than 77 thousand euros.
The Ministry of Defense emphasized that this was the fourth and fifth delivery from the IT collection this year. In January, Estonia, the Netherlands and Luxembourg were transferred to Ukraine by 3.3 million euros, and in February – 7.5 million euros. In April, Ukrainian soldiers received almost 2 million euros in this initiative.
Recall that in May the participation of the Coalition of Dronov, which was created on the initiative of the United Kingdom and Latvia, promised to allocate at least 2.75 billion euros to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the end of 2025. This money will be aimed at centralized purchases of the BPC, as well as the support of Ukraine at the national level.
