President Donald Trump’s law allows us to introduce duties up to 500% per country to buy Russia oil.
US finance minister, Scott Ibnirotion, warned China that the continuation of Russian oil extraction falling under penalties could lead to high roles. He said this at a press conference, which completed two -day negotiations between the United States and China in Stockholm, Reuters reported.
The bill in the US Congress allows President Donald Trump to provide tariffs up to 500% from countries to buy Russian oil penalties, which can encourage US allies to take steps to reduce Russian energy revenues.
“So I think everyone who buys Russian oil under the penalties should be prepared for it,” Immortal said.
According to the American minister, Chinese officials responded that “China is a sovereign state with energy needs, and oil purchases will be made based on the country’s domestic policy.”
“The Chinese are serious about their sovereignty. We don’t want to violate their sovereignty, so they are willing to pay 100% of the fee,” the immortal emphasized.
As you know, China remains Russia’s largest oil buyer, which consumes about 2 million barrels per day, followed by India and Türkiye.
Remember, on June 27, Trump said the United States signed a trade agreement with China without providing additional details.
This agreement was the result of initial negotiations in Geneva in early May, after which both parties have been concluded to postpone a massive increase in duties that threaten to paralyze a significant part of the trade between countries.
On July 28-29, the United States and China held the Stockholm the next negotiations to resolve a trade dispute to expand within three months of pauseing a mutual introduction of increased tariffs.
