The rate of hryvnia is significantly reduced in relation to dollars and euros in exchanges on the last working day of the week. This is proven by monitoring the market on Friday, June 20.
Thus, the average rate of selling dollars in Ukraine has increased by 15 kopecks to 42.00 hryvnias, which has been the maximum level since the middle of -February of the current year. In this regard, the euro grew by 20 kopecks and reached a record of 48.50 hryvnias.
Now, at the exchange points, they buy a dollar on average 41.40 hryvnias, and the Euro – 47.50 hryvnias each.
In the morning in the interbank, American money added 17 kopecks in price and at 41.82-41.86 UAH/dollar purchase and sale.
Yesterday, the National Bank increased the dollar in Hryvnia for the second day to follow up to 41.6854 hryvnias per 1 dollar (+0.0561 UAH). The official euro will be 47.859 hryvnias per 1 euro (-0,0438 UAH).
Remember, last week, the National Bank reduced sales at the interbank of $ 53 million, or by 8.4% to $ 585.8 million.
Also this week it is known that the NBU considers softening the discount rate in the second half of the year. Currently, its level is 15.5%.
