Verkhovna Rada has adopted a law in the development of financial integration in Ukraine. Ukrposhta and other companies with a large network can receive limited bank licenses. This was announced by financial committee head Daniil Getmans on Telegram on Tuesday, June 3.
Bill No. 13018-D is supported in the second reading. The document provides for the emergence of a new type of financial services for financial services – financial service integration banks in the financial service market.
They will serve citizens and small businesses in areas near the war of war, in liberated territories, as well as hard -to -reach and sparsely population territories.
The bill defines the procedure for obtaining a limited banking license. To ensure focus for associated target groups of customers, working with large and medium businesses with a shift of more than 2 million euros is limited.
There is also a restriction on the total volume of credit funds that a borrower can provide.
Remember, on March 25, Verkhovna Rada in the First Reading voted for Bill No. 13018 -D, which provides for the creation of a new type of bank – a financial integration bank.
In the Ministers’ office, the principles of the Ukrposht Bank work were explained. He will offer such financial services: social payments, paying accounts, opening accounts and not only. Particular attention is planned to be paid in the categories of poor population and small businesses, which requires support.
