Budget revenues from foreign IT companies that provide electronic services in Ukraine show confident growth. For five months of 2025, nearly 7 billion hryvnias was received in the state treasury – 1.8 billion more than last year. This was announced by the head of the Parliamentary Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Danilo of Hetmans.
Thus, according to the results of the first quarter of 2025, the amount of tax -taxed electronic services tax provided by foreign companies of Ukrainian users by 29.5% compared to the same period of 2024.
In January-May, the state budget from VAT to electronic services costs nearly 7 billion hryvnias (equivalent to 76.1 million euros or $ 85.2 million). It was 1.8 billion hryvnias more than the same period of 2023.
In May, the number of VAT payers in such companies increased to 136. Among them are the largest players in the global digital market: Google, Apple, Meta, Valve, Sony, Netflix, Spotify, Adobe, Etsy, Epic Games, UPworking Group.
Separately, GetMantsev noted that taxi services also pay taxes: Bolt and Ulon move 4.4 million euros to budget.
“Many are interested in the same fees – $ 0.8 million,” added People’s deputy.
Earlier it was learned that “Google Tax” brought 3.5 billion per quarter to Ukrainian budget.
