Ukraine has sent a formal diplomatic note of temporary lawyer to US activities Julie Davis.
Ukraine has completed all the necessary procedures to launch a combined investment fund for restoration and transfer the United States a diplomatic note proof of it. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Economics of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko on Social Network X on Tuesday, May 13.
“Today, Ukraine has transferred the formal diplomatic note through temporary lawyer to US activities Julie Davis, confirming the implementation of all procedures within the prescribed time,” he said.
According to Sviridenko, Ukraine completed the work set by President Vladimir Zelensky before the negotiation team.
“This is an equal agreement sent in the future, corresponding to Ukraine’s national interests and provide that investments will be directed exclusively for the restoration and growth of the state,” the minister emphasized.
Sviridenko added that this is another clear signal for partners: Ukraine is fulfilling obligations, moving according to schedule and ready for strategic investments.
Remember that on the night of May 1, the Ukraine and the United States signed an agreement on creating an integrated investment fund for restoration with equal participation of both parties.
According to Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, the fund will be created in conditions of consistency – 50% of participation on both sides and equal voting rights. Ukraine maintains complete subsoil control, infrastructure and natural resources. The agreement does not provide for any debt obligations – it is exclusively about investments, not loans.
The United States explained that it would give Ukraine a subsoil agreement
