Spring Sowing: Farmers fulfilled 76% of the plan

Thus, corn accounts for 2.9 million hectares (73%) of sowing areas, barley – 733.4 thousand ha (94%), yarate wheat sown 212.6 thousand hectares (93%), peas – 208.9 thousand acres (96%), oats – 157 thousand ha (97%). Buckwheat was sown at an area of ​​16.3 thousand hectares (18%), millet – 15.7 thousand hectares (20%).

• Region of Poltava: 509.7 thousand ha

• Kirovograd Region: 352 thousand ha

• Region of Chernihiv: 349.7 thousand ha

• Cherkasy region: 339.8 thousand ha

• Total Region: 294.3 thousand ha

Technical cultures are sown by 5.2 million hectares, including:

• Sunflower – 3.5 million hectares (69%). Leader Dnepropetrovsk – 446.5 thousand hectares;

• Soy – 1.3 million hectares (55.9%);

• Sugar beets – 217.1 thousand ha (99%).
