Such dynamics are common for the season, as the main part of the harvest has been implemented overseas, and at the end of the spring only the minor exports remain.
The abbreviation affects almost all categories. Exporting grain crops dropped by 33% and costs 2.4 million tons. Of these, 65% were accounted for corn, 32% – in wheat, and only 2% – in barley.
Volumes of exported oilseeds in April reached 421.2 thousand tons, 3% less than March. The largest part here is occupied by soybeans – 78%, then rapeseed (20%) and flax (1%).
The one group of product that showed growth was vegetable oils. Their exports grew 6% and cost 525.8 thousand tons. The main volume is sunflower oil – 91%, while soy sauce – 9%. Growth is explained by the atypical distribution of sunflower oil production, which this year lasted longer than ever.
After the oil production, Makuhi exports dropped 14% and costs 423 thousand tons. Most of these are sunflowers get (73%) and soy sauce (27%).
Other types of agricultural products also showed a decline – by 2%, up to 357 thousand tons.
Remember that Ukraine from the beginning of 2024/2025 of the marketing year, until April 30, exported 35.093 million tons of grain and grain -bearing crops. In particular, 2.269 million tons were sent in April.
Keep in mind that according to March results, consumer prices in Ukraine accelerated 1.5% from 0.8% in February. An annual inflation was up to 14.6% compared to 13.4% in February.
