The fall in trade will be especially sharp in North America, where this year’s exports will be reduced by 12.6%, predicting analysts.

The World Trade Organization (WTO) announced a “sharp destruction” of world trade prospects after the introduction of Donald Trump Donald Trump. CNBC reported it.

In the WTO, considering the current customary tariffs and a 90-day pause, they expect a falling trade on goods by 0.2% this year, unlike growth in the October forecast.

Autumn will be especially sharp in North America, where this year’s exports will be reduced by 12.6%.

The WTO also warned the “serious risk of reduction”, including the use of “mutual” tariffs and the broader consequences of political uncertainty, “which could lead to a deeper collapse in the world’s trade in the goods of 1.5%.”

Tariff changes took place after a powerful world trade in 2024, where trade in goods increased by 2.9%, and trade in commercial services increased by 6.8%.

Taken, each other’s tariffs and the prevalence of trade policy uncertainty will lead to a reduction in worldwide trade in the goods of 1.5% in 2025.

Remember that China and the European Union have exchanged views on strengthening economic and trade cooperation in response to tariffs from the United States of America.
