On April 4, farmers of all regions of Ukraine were planted on April 4, 926 thousand hectares of spring grains and grain crops planted. Also, farmers began to sow sunflower. This was informed by the Ministry of Agriculture’s Press Service on Friday, April 4.
Currently, the largest area of crops falls into barley – 551.8 thousand hectares. Spring wheat was sown 116.5 thousand hectares, peas – 164.3 thousand hectares, oats – 82.3 thousand hectares.

Ternopil region: 87.4 thousand ha (wheat – 14 thousand hectares, barley – 63.8 thousand ha, peas – 4.1 thousand hectares, oats – 5.1 thousand ha);

Region of Poltava: 83.2 thousand ha (wheat – 4.2 thousand ha, barley – 66.5 thousand ha, peas – 9.4 thousand ha, oats – 3.1 thousand ha);

Nikolaev Region: 73.6 thousand ha (wheat – 4.5 thousand ha, barley – 42 thousand ha, peas – 26.5 thousand ha, oats – 0.6 thousand ha);

Vinnitsa region: 72.6 thousand -ha (wheat – 11.5 thousand -ha, barley – 53 thousand hectares, peas – 7 thousand ha, oats – 1.1 thousand ha).

Soya is sown in an area of 2.6 thousand hectares.
