Ukraine’s nominal GDP last year costs more than 7.6 trillion hryvnias, which is calculated in state statistics service.
According to the results of 2024, GDP growth in Ukraine slowed 2.9%. And by the end of the year, the economy even “went to the minus.” The said data was published by the State Statistics Service (State Statistics Service) on Monday, March 31.
Thus, in the fourth quarter, a reduction in GDP was recorded 0.1% after growth of 2.2% in the third quarter, 4.0% in the second and 6.8% at first.
According to Department Department, Ukraine’s nominal GDP last year reached 7 trillion 658.7 billion UAH, a change in default – 12.3%. In particular, in the fourth quarter, the nominal GDP reached 2 trillion 194.4 billion UAH, a change in default – 12.8%.
Earlier, the Ministry of Economy estimated the growth of the Ukraine GDP in 2024 to 3.6%, and the National Bank – at 3.4%. In 2025, the IMF predicts economic growth closer to the lower incidence of 2-3%, the NBU is 3.6%, while 2.9%is laid on the state budget.
Remember that in February the GDP growth rate of Ukraine slowed down – up to 0.7%. This is significantly lower than January (1.5%) and December 2024 (1.7%). The slowdown in economic growth rate has taken place due to the missile of flowing in gas manufacture facilities and a temporary reduction in exporting activities, after which the Ministry of Economy explained in the past.
