Industrial production in Ukraine in 2024 increased by 3.6%, while in 2023, according to updated data, growth reached 6.8% after falling 36.7% in 2022. It was reported by the state state service on Wednesday, March 26th.
In December 2024, compared to December of 2023, industrial production in Ukraine was reduced by 3.3%, in November-by 0.4%.
Last year, from January to May, an increase in industrial production was recorded: after a jump of 17.2% in January, the restoration slowed 3.6% in May, on the day the reduction was recorded from 0.3% in June to 1.5% in July and 4.3% in August, after which in September and October it changed its increasing 1.3% and 0.9%.
In 2024, industrial production in the mining industry and the development of quarries increased by 3.3%, in the processing industry-5.3%, while providing electricity, gas and steam had a reduction of 2.7%due to the collapse of electricity by 6.3%, though gas production increased by 5%.

In processing, the greatest increase was recorded in metallurgy and manufacture of metal products – 22.5%, clothing – 19.6%, furniture – 7.3%.
The manufacture of food products, drinks and tobacco products increased by 6.2%, fabric – by 4.7%, rubber and plastic – by 3.4%, pharmacists – by 1.9%, paper and paper – by 1.4%.
Engineering in 2024 fell 1.2%, making wood – by 8.8%, chemical making – by 9.9%, automotic – by 17%, making computers, electronic and optical products – by 19%.
In the nominal terms, Ukraine in 2024 sells industrial products (goods, services) at a sum of 3.657 trillion UAH, which is 11.8% more than 2023, including outside the country – for 680.3 billion UAH (growth of 24.4%).
In the total volume of industrial products in 2024, the largest part was in the processing industry (59.9% compared to 56% in 2023), power supply, gas, vapor and air conditioned air (27.2% compared to 31.2% of 2023), industry manufacture and developing quarries (staying at a level of 11.7%), and another 1.2%)) (1.1%) are water, sewage and wastle and wastle.
