French archaeologists have dug an amazing settlement in the O-De-France region, dated to late copper and early iron age, about three millennia ago, Armeonews reports.
More than twenty buildings were found on the site with an area of nearly 30 thousand square meters, some of which had a rectangular shape and reached more than 25 meters long. Architectural planning indicates a well -being, and the concentration of structures and artifacts indicates active social and economic life.
Also, during excavations, various structures for combustion were found, including large circle pits and rectangular furnaces. The round pits located in the dwellings are filled with materials exposed to high temperatures, suggesting that they can be used to cook or make ceramics.
