The German Sefe has signed a 15-year purchase agreement of 1.5 million tons of LNG for a year from the United States of America.

German company Sefe and American Delfin have signed the major terms of the supply agreement of 1.5 million tons of liquid natural gas (LNG) for a year for 15 years. This was reported by the company’s press service on Tuesday, March 25.

LNG will be sent from the floating flng medium, which Delfin sets about 40 miles from Cameron (Louisiana) to the Gulf of Mexico.

Deliveries will be carried out on free-on-board terms immediately after the construction and order of FLNG vehicles will contribute to ensuring the safety of supplies for sefe customers.

“This long -term agreement with Delfin gives us to make our LNG portfolio different, providing more flexible and, thus, providing incessant delivery to our European customers and around the world,” said Sefe Commercial Director Frederick Barno.

The Delfin LNG project in a deep port requires a little further infrastructure investment to support up to three FLNG ships, producing up to 13 million tons of LNG each year.

Remember that in January EU countries strictly increased purchases of liquid gas from the Yamal Deposit of Novatek.

Last year, importing liquid natural gas from Russia to EU countries grew 18%.
