Ukraine will receive another 100 million cubic meters of liquid natural gas (lng) from the USA. This was announced by Naftogaz on Tuesday, March 18.
It is indicated that the corresponding contract is signed by the Poland Orlen company, which is one of the largest oil corporations of Central and Eastern Europe.
“Fuel will come from the American LNG party. After regasification, gas is brought to the Polish -ukrainian border,” the report said.
In Naftogaz, it was reminded that this was a second contract for the fuel supply, which was signed as part of the understanding memorandum between companies. The first also provided for the supply of 100 million cubic meters of American lng.
“Gas will be delivered to Ukraine in April. It is used to create a strategic fuel reserve for the next heat season,” Naftogaz added.
We remind you that in February in Ukraine they recorded a reduction in the actual gas price – up to 16,307 hryvnias. The price is reduced after prices increase within three months of succession.
