Russian military propaganda has long been working against the West, but the answer to it remains inadequate enough.
Russia increases the number of divisions of information and psychological operations (IPSO) to its armed forces. This is done not only to strengthen the war of information against Ukraine, but also for active activities in Europe, USA, in the Middle East and Asia. This was announced by the center of the center for the fight against disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council Andrei Kovalenko on Tuesday, March 18.
The main purpose of the Kremlin is the destabilization of the West.
“European countries for Russians are the main purpose. The Russian Federation has not beat Ukraine in our field of information, so the rate has been affected in the western world,” Kovalenko said.
According to him, Moscow is pursuing five main goals:

Destruction of NATO institutions;

Discrediting the subjectivity of Ukraine;

Weakening of US power institutions;

The promotion of Russian narratives in the countries of the Middle East and Asia.
Kovalenko emphasized that information troops should be a major element of NATO and Europe in the next 5-10 years. He also emphasized that Russian polite propaganda has long been working against the West, but the answer to it remains inadequate enough.
Earlier, the SBU warned the activation of Russia’s propaganda. Russian attempts aim to shake the socio-political situation in Ukraine, then emphasized in special services.
