Among the businesses that have resumed their activities in a new location, wholesale and retail trade businesses have the largest share.
As part of the relocation program, 678 Ukrainian businesses have already moved their capacities from areas where fighting is taking place to safer regions. This was announced on Saturday, July 16, by the Ministry of Economy.
Most companies moved their facilities to Lviv (24.6%of businesses moved), Zakarpattia (16.1%) and Chernivtsi (11.4%) regions. Of these, 68% (467 businesses) have resumed their work.
Among the businesses that have already resumed their activities in a new location, the largest share consists of businesses in wholesale and retail trade, repair of automobiles and motorcycles (38.7%), processing industry (33.1%), information and telecommunications (5.9). %), professional, scientific and technical activity (5.3%).
Earlier it was reported that Prime Minister Denys Shmygal called on international companies to resume work in Ukraine.
It was also reported that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at the economic forum in Davos appealed to foreign businesses with a call to leave the Russian market and work in Ukraine.
