Ukraine’s business and population throughout 2024 conducted more than 3.6 billion payment transactions. The National Bank reported it.
It was noted that last year, 1.7 million payment transactions were initiated using direct debit to the volume of UAH 31.2 billion.
According to the NBU, payment transactions initiated using a credit transfer are more common. Last year they were implemented:

Within Ukraine – 3.62 billion operations worth more than 43,115.15 billion UAH;

in Ukraine – 5.7 million for $ 69.27 billion;

From Ukraine – 1.4 million to 77.06 billion dollars.
It was also reported that the largest number of payment transactions within Ukraine initiated using a credit transfer were made from individuals: 3.1 billion, or 85.7% of the total number of associated payment transactions.
By the amount of more than such payment transactions, it is carried out from the accounts of business creatures: 39,260.91 billion UAH, or 91.1% of the total amount.
During this time, 58.6% of the total amount of payment transactions made using a credit transfer (that was, 3.3 million operations) were received from overseas in favor of individuals in Ukraine during this time.
The amount also leads to the business – 94.1% of the total amount of payment transactions started using a credit transfer, received in favor of businesses – it’s $ 65.21 billion.

Keep in mind that the National Bank of Ukraine has temporarily set a limit of 150 thousand hryvnias per month for transferring individuals “from card to card” (P2P).
As reported, in Ukraine last year, 9.6 billion US dollars were moved to the equivalent, including transfers by official and unofficial channels, which is 17.2% less than 2023.
