The government is now appreciating the estimate of construction in the Khmelnitsky Nuclear Power Plant, after which Parliament will re -enact draft law in the final permit for the completion of power units.
Verkhovna Rada allowed Energoatom to buy reactor units from Bulgaria for the completion of two Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant power units. The corresponding decision was supported by the 261 person’s 261 deputy of 226 required on Tuesday, February 11.
The law provides that the government is about to update the estimates of Haes construction, after which Parliament will re -enact the draft law in the final permit for the completion of power units.
As you know, in September 2020, President Vladimir Zelensky ordered to complete two Haes power units. Ukraine plans to buy the necessary reactors in Bulgaria for $ 600 million.
Remember that Power Unit No. 3 of the Khmelnitsky Nuclear Power Plant is 75%ready, and Block No. 4 – by 25%. In Energoatom, it is believed that they can be completed within three and five years, respectively.
According to the sociological survey of the rating group, 80% of Ukrainians support the completion of the Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant.
