Last month, prices for communication services increased at all – by 9.1%, but eggs were significantly involved – 23.1%.
According to January results, consumer prices in Ukraine increased another 1.2%. An annual inflation accelerated by 12.9%. This was announced by the State Statistics Service on Monday, February 10.
The main inflation in January compared to December 2024 reached 1.3%, and 11.7%in January 2024.
Last month, food prices and soft drinks rose 1.2%. Vegetable prices, sunflower oils, soft drinks, bread, butter, grain processing products, meat and meat products, milk and dairy products, fruits, fish and fish products will rise 5.5-0.9%.
Prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 1.6%, which is associated with the increase in cost of tobacco products by 2.3%.
Also, in January, prices in the field of communication by 9.1%rose, which are associated with increasing tariffs for local telephone communication by 29.1%and mobile communication by 15.6%.
Transportation prices increased by 1.4% mainly due to increased cost of passenger transportation on the road by 2.5% and fuel and oil by 2.1%.
At the same time, last month in Ukraine, eggs fell by 23.1%, 0.8% and 0.6% reduced prices for pasta and sugar, by 5.5% for clothes and shoes.
Note that according to the results of 2024, the rate of inflation in Ukraine reached 12%. In the December consumer market, food prices and soft drinks increased by 1.8%.
It is also reported that by the end of January the National Bank exacerbated the major macroeconomic indicators for the current and subsequent year.
