The average dollar selling rate fell to 42.40 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate remained at 44.25 Hryvnia.
In the cash market, the hryvnia continues to strengthen against the dollar. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to monitoring data on Thursday, January 23.
It is indicated that the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine has decreased by another 10 kopecks – to 42.40 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate has not changed – 44.25 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy a dollar for an average of 41.90 Hryvnia, and a euro for 43.55 Hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 41.99-42.02 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – so far unchanged compared to the previous day’s close.
Yesterday, the National Bank reduced the dollar exchange rate against the Hryvnia after two days of growth – 42.0325 Hryvnia per dollar (-0.1336 UAH). The official euro exchange rate is 43.8735 UAH (+0.2316 UAH).
We remind you that the demand for foreign currency in the interbank market remains high. NBU sold more than $1 billion for the second week in a row.
At the same time, it was reported that by the end of December, Ukraine’s international reserves reached a new record – $43.788 billion. Overall, in 2024, reserves increased by $3.273 billion, or 8.1%.
