The total amount of declared foreign income of these Ukrainians is UAH 326.1 million; of which UAH 63.2 million is personal income tax and military duty.
Citizens of Ukraine have filed 451 declarations of income received from activities on the OnlyFans platform (owned by the British company Fenix legala. The State Tax Service (STS) of Ukraine responded to a request from Economic Pravda.
Information about these Ukrainians was received in three tranches: September 3 and 19, as well as on October 28, 2024. The information concerns the incomes of citizens for the period 2020-2022.
The State Tax Service refused to name the exact number of people in respect of whom the information was received from the British tax authorities, noting that the disclosure of this data could pose a “threat to the national security of Ukraine” (after all, the Ukrainian side may violate the terms of the interstate agreement with Britain).
Based on the information received, the State Tax Service has developed and sent 4,429 information requests to Ukrainians, containing requests for payment of taxes.
Of these, 451 citizens submitted an income declaration to the State Tax Service. The total amount of foreign income declared by them is UAH 326.1 million. The amount of tax liabilities of these individuals is UAH 63.2 million in personal income tax and military duty.
The State Tax Service also reported that it transferred information about citizens who received income from the OnlyFans platform to “one of the law enforcement agencies,” but declined to name which one. This transfer took place based on a court decision.
The media recalled that data on all Ukrainians and Ukrainian women who received income on the OnlyFans platform is at the disposal of the Bureau of Economic Security. After that, the Bureau began conducting searches of the models, charging them under Article 301 of the Criminal Code (related to the production of porn), despite the fact that the BEB is not supposed to conduct investigation under this article.
As you know, in May 2022, the erotic content subscription service OnlyFans transferred funds to the state budget of Ukraine for the first time. The amount was 305 thousand dollars, which at that time was almost 9 million hryvnias.
