The average selling rate of the dollar was at 42.65 hryvnia, the euro rate increased to 44.10 hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate stopped growing against the dollar and fell slightly against the euro. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Monday, January 20.
So, this morning, the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine has not changed – 42.65 Hryvnia, the euro rate has increased by 5 kopecks, up to 44.10 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy a dollar for an average of 42.15 Hryvnia, and a euro for 43.40 Hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 42.11-42.14 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 3 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
Last Friday, the National Bank reduced the dollar to Hryvnia exchange rate on Monday for the third day in a row – 42.1257 Hryvnia per 1 dollar (-0.0472 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 43.3684 UAH (+0.0484 UAH).
We remind you that the demand for foreign currency in the interbank market remains high. NBU sold more than $1 billion for the second week in a row.
