Interest in winter holidays among Ukrainians began to grow. The number of tourists during vacations in the mountains has increased by a third over the past.
Ukrainians paid 10-20% more for holidays in winter resorts this season than last year. Interfax-Ukraine wrote this on Wednesday, January 15.
At the same time, as indicated by the portal, the flow of tourists to the Ukrainian ski resort during the winter holidays increased by 30-40% compared to the previous winter.
“During the New Year, Ukrainian mountain resorts approached the numbers recorded before the mass invasion, and in some places the resorts were 70-80% full,” the agency pointed out.
The average length of stay of guests in hotels also increased compared to last year – 3.2 nights and now stands at 4.3 nights. And the number of group bookings increased and became similar to pre-war times.
In June, the giant Wonsan-Kalma resort complex is set to open on North Korea’s east coast, where DPRK authorities hope to boost the country’s economy. The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) published footage of the new resort, which was inspected by the country’s leader, Kim Jong-in, with his daughter.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has commissioned his collaborators to build “resorts” on the captured shores of the Sea of Azov. So, he wanted to encourage the Russians to move into the occupied territories and provide civilian cover as a human shield.
