The average dollar selling rate increased to 43.05 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate increased to 44.50 Hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate continues to decline against the dollar and euro on the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Friday, January 10.
So, the average dollar selling rate in Ukraine immediately increased by 20 kopecks – to 43.05 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate increased by 10 kopecks – to 44.50 Hryvnia.
Today, exchangers buy dollars on average for 42.50 hryvnia, euros for 43.80 hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 42.37-42.40 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 2 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
Yesterday, the National Bank increased the dollar exchange rate against the Hryvnia for the fifth time in a row to a historical maximum – UAH 42.2825 (+0.0464 UAH). The official euro exchange rate is 43.5594 UAH (+0.1322 UAH).
Let us remind you that in the past week the National Bank has significantly reduced support for the Hryvnia. The lowest amount of currency was sold in the interbank market for the month.
It was also reported that at the end of December, Ukraine’s international reserves reached a new record – $43.788 billion. In 2024, reserves will increase by $3.273 billion, or 8.1%.
