NEURC’s decision to approve new tariffs for gas transportation will not affect household consumers.
The National Energy Commission has informed that currently no changes in gas tariffs for the population are planned. This was announced by the NEURC press service on Tuesday, December 31.
“Attention! False information is spread in the media. There are no changes in gas tariffs for the population,” the message said.
It is noted that the current gas tariff for the population remains unchanged. While NEURC’s decision on approving new tariffs for gas transportation will not affect household consumers.
The message confirmed that on December 30, 2024, NEURC adopted new tariffs for natural gas transportation services for LLC Ukrainian GTS operatorthey are calculated for entry and exit points for the regulatory period 2025 – 2029.
And they added that these tariffs take into account the termination of the transfer of Russian gas to the territory of Ukraine, which is planned from January 1, 2025.
The cost of gas distribution remains unchanged.
The moratorium on increasing gas and heating tariffs for the population remains in effect, starting in 2022. Accordingly, the cost of hot water and heating will not change.
It was previously reported that from January 1, 2025, gas transportation tariffs for domestic consumers will increase fourfold.
Denis Shmygal also said that in Ukraine tariffs for gas, heat supply and electricity will not increase until the end of the heating season.
Let’s remember that the National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the field of energy and utilities, approved an increase in the tariff for electricity transmission for 2025 by 25.8%.
