“UAH 1.8 trillion constitutes expenditures of the general fund of the state budget for the security and defense sector in January-November 2024. This is 58.6% of the total amount of expenditures of the general fund of the state budget,” the report notes.
In November, 206.4 billion UAH were used for security and defense needs.
Funds are allocated for the allowance of military personnel, private and commanding officers, and police officers; procurement of military equipment, weapons, ammunition, personal protective equipment, fuel and lubricants, food products; medical care and other expenses.
