Japanese automaker Toyota’s global production fell for the 10th straight month, while the company’s sales rose for a second month. Reuters writes about it.
The world’s largest automaker produced 869,230 vehicles worldwide in November, down 6.2% from the same month last year.
However, these indicators showed a greater decrease compared to the results of October (-0.8%).
Overall, Toyota’s production in the US fell by 11.8%. China’s auto production fell 1.6%, but the result was still better than last month’s 9% fall.
In Japan, which accounts for about a third of Toyota’s global production, vehicle production fell 9.3% in November, partly due to two-day shutdowns at two plants.
At the same time, Toyota’s worldwide sales rose for the second month in a row by 1.7% to 920,569 vehicles, setting a new record for November.
Let us remind you that the most popular car in the world market was once named. The most popular car models among private and corporate buyers in Ukraine were also identified.
