So, in the Belgorod-Dniester region, the farm “Budzhak” completed the harvest of sweet potatoes on an area of 7 hectares – one of the largest in Ukraine.
The head of the farm, Alexey Zgirin, noted that the cultivation of the Beauregard variety became possible thanks to the introduction of the latest technologies, in particular, the use of virus-free planting material. According to him, it has been possible to reduce the number of chemical treatments and improve the quality of the product.
“Agrarians of the Odessa region once again proved: even in difficult conditions, the region can be an example of innovation and efficiency. Thanks to such initiatives, our farmers not only develop the economy, but also provide of new tastes to Ukrainians,” added Kiper.
