The GovTech Center is a platform for tracking global trends in GovTech and conducting research and analysis.
The World Economic Forum launched the Global Government Technology Center (GGTC Kyiv) in Kyiv, becoming the second GovTech center in the world after Berlin. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mikhail Fedorov, on Telegram on Tuesday, December 18.
According to him, GGTC Kyiv is headed by social entrepreneur Zoya Lytvyn.
“The GovTech center will bring together government, business, startups and scientists to find new digital solutions and create joint projects with international partners and exchange experience,” said the minister.
The GovTech Center will be a platform for monitoring global trends in GovTech and conducting research and analysis. Also, with his help, partners will be found on the technology development track – AI, EdTech, Defense Tech, Semiconductors, BioTech, Green Tech, AUV.
It will also train public sector leaders to adapt to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence technology. In partnership with the CDTO Campus, the center will create a space where leaders can test and implement digital solutions.
It is expected that by working with international partners, Ukrainian startups will be able to exchange experience and accelerate digital reforms in the public sector around the world.
Let’s remember that the Ministry of Digital Transformation is developing a policy for the integration of artificial intelligence in government processes.
