The EIB has allocated 60 million euros to Ukraine

Of the provided funds, 43.48 million were allocated for the reconstruction of the section of the M01 Kyiv – Chernigov – Novye Yarilovichi highway. Another 17.25 million was allocated for updating public transport.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has provided more than €60 million in loans backed by EU guarantees for the rehabilitation of the MO1 road section and public transport investments in Kyiv, Odessa and Sumy. This was reported by the bank’s press service. Interfax-Ukraine.

Of the provided funds, 43.48 million euros were allocated for the reconstruction of the section of the M01 Kyiv – Chernigov – New Yarilovichi highway.

Another 17.25 million euros is allocated for the renewal of urban public transport, which is necessary for the mobility of Ukrainian cities.

It was noted that the funding is aimed at purchasing new buses, trolleybuses and trams, as well as necessary spare parts and equipment for maintenance. This investment includes new buses for Kyiv, Ukrainian-made trams for Odessa and trolleybuses for Sumy.

We remind you that the Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) approved investments in Ukraine worth more than 1.3 billion rubles. Euro.
