Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is expected to attend the opening ceremony of the restored Notre Dame Cathedral in France on Wednesday, December 7. Besides French leader Emmanuel Macron, US president-elect Donald Trump will also attend. This was reported by the local newspaper Le Monde, citing its sources.

The media recalled that on Saturday, December 7, the opening of the rebuilt Notre Dame Cathedral will take place in Paris, where the newly elected US President Donald Trump will be present. This trip was his first visit abroad after winning the election.

In addition to him, about forty heads of state and government were present. In particular, the visit of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is also expected.

German President Frank Steinmeier, Italian President Sergio Mattarella, Polish President Andrzej Duda, Croatian President Zoran Milanovic, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, Estonian President Alar Karis, Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda have already confirmed their participation in the ceremony.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen was also there.
