Denmark will allocate 6 million euros to restore Ukraine’s damaged energy infrastructure as a result of Russian attacks. This was announced by the Minister of European Affairs of Denmark, Maria Bjerre Holst, the government press service reports.
According to him, these funds will be directed to the energy support fund of the energy community of Ukraine.
Holst also emphasized that supporting Ukraine has been and remains one of Denmark’s priorities. The country strives to see Ukraine as a member of the EU and will provide full support to Kyiv on its European integration path.
Let’s remember that on November 28, Russia dealt a huge blow to Ukraine’s energy sector. Infrastructure facilities were damaged in Rivne, Lviv, Kirovograd, Kyiv, Volyn, Khmelnytsky, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolaiv and Vinnytsia regions. Overall, damage was recorded in 14 regions of Ukraine.
Ukraine convenes an extraordinary meeting of the IAEA. The meeting will discuss Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy.
