One of the largest dairy producers in the world will resume production in Russia.
French company Danone has no plans to leave the Russian market. This was reported on April 5 by the Interfax news agency.
“Danone’s position regarding its activities in Russia has not changed. We do not plan to stop our activities in Russia and leave the market,” Danone’s Russia office said.
It is emphasized that the main priorities of the company in the Russian Federation are the safety of employees and ensuring the smooth operation of the business.
Recall that earlier the company announced that it has suspended investments in the Russian Federation, but will resume production and distribution of dairy products, baby and medical food.
Danone will not receive dividends and other payments from the Russian structure, and will direct all revenues received in the Russian market for humanitarian purposes.
The Russian Danone group includes 16 businesses, including brands Activia, Prostokvashino, Tema, Rastishka etc.
