The Pivdennoukrainian nuclear power plant became a platform for holding the conference “Nuclear energy and power generation”.
The visit was organized by representatives of JSC “NAEK “Energoatom” under the proposal of the PAEW Association.
The participants of the conference discussed the prospects for the development of nuclear energy in Ukraine, its role in achieving the goals of development and saving the climate, the prospects for the energy security of the population in the mind of fight climate change and course towards decarbonization of energy.
The leaders of the ESG Liga Association PAEW chose a consultation format for the task. During their time at the conference, they met environmental experts, representatives of large organizations, scientists, and members of the Ukrainian Nuclear Partnership. Industrialists are represented by representatives of JSC “NAEK “Energoatom” together with the Director of the company, a branch of “VP “Atomproektengineering” and “VP “Pivdennoukrainska AES”.
After the conference began, the participants were given a tour of the Pivdennoukrainsk Energy Complex facilities. The guests visited one of the posts of the automatic system for monitoring the radiation situation, which regularly monitors the environment, visited the observation platform of the Tashlitsky State Electric Power Plant and Ecological and chemical laboratory PAES.
The alliance of energy workers and environmentalists has been an important player until the development of a comprehensive strategy and the coming revolution. Nutritional decarbonization and the transition to “green” energy are the order of the day worldwide. Nuclear energy is not seen as a reliable source of energy, which is in line with today’s environmental movements, which was repeatedly mentioned by the participants in the official part of the conference.
“Global temperatures on our planet continue to rise. Humanity is actively looking for a way out of this situation. Nuclear energy, like carbon-free generation, addresses optimal problems,” – nominated by Lyudmila Tsyganok, President of PAEW Association, Honored Conservationist of Ukraine, founder of ESG League.
With the support of his colleague, Valentin Shcherbina, Vice-President of the PAEW Association for Military Ecology: “We cannot do this without strong nuclear energy, and I see no alternative to it now. Vitrovi,Sony’s power plants, of course, make it difficult, but there is a strong stench behind their duties and they cannot give us up in such a bad time and ensure victory. Technological warfare is contagious, and technology requires electricity. It is good to note that today’s collection raised the topic of small modular reactors. With military terrorism in mind, energy efficient attacks`It’s too far out of sight. We are ready to cooperate with Energoatom for the sake of our real Success. Today’s slogan about a peaceful atom takes on a new meaning.”
An important topic for discussion during the conference was the construction of the Tashlitsk hydroaccumulative station. This object can be given additional maneuvering forces as required by the electrical system. “Tashlytska GAES allows you to accumulate energy. Our country is in dire need of balancing efforts. A number of hydroaccumulative power plants, which allow the energy system to operate more stably. Of course, the more pressures, the better. Hence the need for TGAES. Well, and nuclear and hydropower and environmentally friendly types of generation do not cause a negative impact on the economy, conference participants can move in person” – assignment to Vyacheslav Stoyanov, General Director of the branch of VP Pivdennoukrainska AES.
Conference participants discussed not only climate goals, but also economic and social prospects for the regions in terms of the development of energy facilities. Dialogue from space is the basis for the formation of any kind of galusa, zakrem, and energy. Therefore, at JSC “NAEK” Energoatom ” we will try to openly discuss the results and prospects of nuclear energy. Where the chief executive of the Company Petro Kotin will speak. Only at one time will we know the maximum current supply and what what will happen in the future. The future of our region is energetically independent and environmentally friendly.
