This indicates a steady increase in public confidence in the banking system, especially in the segment of Hryvnia deposits.
The total amount of deposits of individuals, including individual entrepreneurs, in Ukrainian banks increased in October by 5.9 billion Hryvnia and reached 1.3 trillion Hryvnia. The press service of the Deposit Guarantee Fund reported this on Tuesday, November 26.
Since the beginning of 2024, the total increase in citizens’ deposits has reached UAH 96.8 billion, of which UAH 58.7 billion is real growth (excluding the revaluation of the hryvnia equivalent of foreign currency deposits).
From the total amount of deposits of individuals at the beginning of November:

deposits in the national currency – 854.9 billion.

foreign currency deposits – 476.7 billion hryvnias.
The share of individual entrepreneurs in the structure of depositors on November 1 was 3.2%, in the structure of the value of deposits – 11.1%, the value of their deposits – 147.7 billion Hryvnia.
We remind you that during 10 months of this year, the net profit of Ukrainian banks exceeded 125 billion Hryvnia. This is a record figure.
