Mobile operators Kyivstar, Vodafone and lifecell won the lot for obtaining licenses to use the radio frequency spectrum in the range of 2100/2300/2600 MHz for 15 years following an auction held on November 19. Interfax-Ukraine reported this on Tuesday, November 19.
The auction format includes “voice bidding” and bidders raising bids.
The first lot was won by Vodafone for a license in the radio frequency bands 1945-1950/2135-2140 MHz at a starting price of UAH 458.3 million.
The second was won by lifecell with a price of UAH 463 million in the bidding for licenses in the radio frequency bands 1935-1940/2125-2130 MHz with a starting price of UAH 458.3 million.
The third lot was received by Kyivstar with a price of UAH 448.5 million in the bidding for licenses in radio frequency bands 1940-1945/2130-2135 MHz with a starting price of UAH 439.9 million.
The fourth was won by Kyivstar with a price of UAH 994.8 million in the bidding for licenses in the radio frequency bands 2355-2395 MHz with a starting price of UAH 984.8 million.
The fifth lot was won by Vodafone bidding for licenses in the radio frequency bands 2575-2610 MHz at a starting price of UAH 530 million.
Licenses are valid for 15 years.
