The average selling rate of the dollar decreased to 41.70 hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate decreased to 44.40 hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate strengthened against the dollar and the euro on the currency market. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Thursday, November 14.
Thus, the average selling rate of the dollar decreased by 5 kopecks – to 41.70 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate fell by 15 kopecks – to 44.40 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 41.20 Hryvnia, euros for 43.70 Hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 41.29-41.31 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – a decrease of 1 kopeck compared to the previous day’s close.
Yesterday, the National Bank lowered the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia on Thursday after rising the day before – 41.3413 UAH (-0.0350 UAH). The official euro exchange rate is 43.9499 UAH (+0.0083 UAH).
Meanwhile, in global markets, the US dollar hit a one-year high against major currencies, strengthening for a fifth consecutive day against the backdrop of Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election. The USD index reached 106.78 for the first time since October 2023.
