The National Bank raised the official dollar exchange rate for the fourth time in a row, although the American currency began to fall in price on the interbank market.
The National Bank of Ukraine reduced the hryvnia exchange rate against the dollar for the fourth day in a row. The American currency edged closer to its historic high, according to data on the regulator’s website on Wednesday, November 6.
Thus, the official exchange rate for tomorrow is set at 41.4562 UAH per dollar (+0.0187 UAH). The rate was higher only on July 22 of this year – 41.4912 UAH/dollar.
Meanwhile, the euro exchange rate fell sharply against the backdrop of Donald Trump’s victory in the US election. The official exchange rate of the European currency tomorrow will be 44.3374 UAH per euro (-0.8129 UAH).
In the interbank market, the American currency fell by 8 kopecks to 41.38-41.40 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate increased by 5 kopecks to UAH 41.70.
Let’s remember that the growth of the dollar is a global trend in reaction to the victory of Donald Trump in the US presidential election. Against this background, prices for oil, gold and other raw materials fell.
