Since the beginning of the year, cars worth almost $3 billion have been imported into Ukraine.

The largest supplier of passenger cars is Germany, where almost 42.5 thousand cars were imported to Ukraine.

From January to August, 215.6 thousand passenger cars (new and used) were imported into Ukraine. The number of these vehicles is 15% more than in the same period in 2023. It was reported by Ukravtoprom.

It is noted that the total customs value of these vehicles is $2 billion 933 million, which is 19% more than in the past.

The largest supplier of passenger cars is Germany, where almost 42.5 thousand cars were imported to Ukraine. The top three exporting countries are the USA and China.

• Germany – 42,468 units (-5%);

• USA – 34,590 (+63%);

• China – 25,604 (+102%);

• Japan – 21,934 (+14%);

• Republic of Korea – 11159 (+63%);

• France – 10,741 (-36%);

• Slovakia – 9651 (+52%);

• Mexico – 9391 (+77%);

• Czech Republic – 9117 (-21%);

• UK – 9,070 (-8%).

Let’s recall that in the three quarters of 2024, 53 thousand new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine, which is 21% more than in the same period last year.
