The High Anti-Corruption Court found the former head of the Production Support Center of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC and a representative of a commercial structure guilty of abuses that caused damage to the business in the amount of almost 103 million UAH. “On October 29, 2024, a panel of judges of the Supreme Court of Justice announced the verdict against the former head of the Production Support Center of Ukrzaliznytsia and the organizer of the crime – a representative of a commercial structure according to court verdict , people were found guilty of abuses that caused almost 103 million UAH of damage to Ukrzaliznytsia,” the statement said.
The court sentenced the representative of the commercial structure to five years and five months of imprisonment with the removal of the right to hold positions in economic entities of all forms of ownership for three years.
VAKS found the former official of Ukrzaliznytsia guilty under Part 2 of Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and imposed a penalty of three years and one month in prison with deprivation of the right to hold positions in business entities of all forms of ownership.
