The regulator raised the dollar’s exchange rate again, although the American currency fell slightly in price on the interbank market.
The National Bank of Ukraine reduced the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar. This trend continues for the third day, according to data on the regulator’s website on Tuesday, October 29.
So, the official exchange rate for tomorrow is set at UAH 41.3798. for 1 dollar (+0.0506 UAH). In turn, the euro exchange rate decreased and tomorrow will be 44.6074 UAH (-0.0901 UAH).
In the interbank market, the American currency decreased by 1 kopeck at 41.36-41.38 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate increased by 10 kopecks to UAH 41.65.
Earlier it became known that the NBU will set the hryvnia exchange rate in a new way. The regulator presented a plan for moving to a – daily – basket of currencies to establish the official exchange rate.
It was also reported that in October the National Bank sold a record amount of foreign currency in three months.
