Israel destroyed all S-300s in Iran, which served as the basis of its air defense.
The Wall Street Journal writes about this on October 29.
Three of the four systems supplied by Russia to Iran were destroyed during the October 26 attack, and the fourth was destroyed earlier.
These complexes were a key component of Iran’s air defense system. They were able to intercept a maximum of several hundred missiles fired at targets in Iran during an air attack that involved almost a hundred Israeli warplanes.
On October 26, Israel struck military targets in Iran. The operation was codenamed “Days of Repentance” and was a response to more than a year of attacks by Tehran and its allies. This is the first military operation on Iranian territory for which the Israeli authorities have officially taken responsibility.
