The net income of the state-owned PrivatBank based on the results of work in January – September of this year reached a record of 48.35 billion Hryvnia. This is 11.5% more than the same period last year, reported the press service of the financial institution on Thursday, October 24.
Based on the results of nine months, PrivatBank’s profit before tax amounted to UAH 64.01 billion. And its loan portfolio increased by 18.4%, exceeding UAH 108.99 billion at the end of September.
“The quality of the loan portfolio refers to almost zero costs for building additional reserves to cover credit risks,” the statement said.
However, operating expenses increased by 4.8% compared to the same period last year.
We remind you that for 2023, PrivatBank received a pre-tax profit of 72.8 billion hryvnias and paid the state 57 billion hryvnias in income tax and dividends. At that time, these numbers were also high.
